To celebrate Black History Month we are going to explore fruits, vegetables, and flowers we grow in our American gardens that originated in Africa. You will be surprised at the vastness of these plant varieties that have influenced our culture, especially that of the American south. By continuing to use plants of their native lands when brought here African Americans wove their native culture into that of America itself. Free Seeds!
